With over 22 years of experience in residential construction, Jeff has extensive experience in all aspects of building and repair, from preliminary site work, foundations and framing, to finish work of installing baseboards, countertops and light fixtures, and every step along the way.
Beginning as a an apprentice in the Carpenter's Union in St. Louis, Missouri, Jeff went on to a successful career as a project superintendent working on small semi-custom homes with local developers in both Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, North Carolina, as well as working for high volume national builders like D.R. Horton in California.
Additionally, Jeff spent a few years during the course of his work on customer service and warranty for new homes, and gained recognition for not only being a skilled craftsman, but also having great people skills and a helpful, proactive approach. He conducted quality assurance review with new owners, determined the best course of action to resolve any issues in the most timely, cost-effective and least-invasive way possible.
Jeff has taken all the skills he developed over his 22-year career in construction, and parlayed it into his own company, J. Brown Construction. More than a handyman, and more than a General Contractor, he is a problem solver and an advocate for his clients. He delivers what he promises, and does it in a way that makes clients return to him time and again for all their needs.
